Dr. Priya Dixit

Meet Dr. Priya Dixit

Dr. Dixit hails from Pittsburgh, PA, and has been practicing pediatric dentistry since 2000. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. and then obtained her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Following this, she went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Because of her desire to specifically treat children, she then completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Following her residency, she became a clinical professor of dental students and pediatric dental residency students at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for 5 years. She also practiced in a private pediatric dental office in the Pittsburgh area during that time. In 2006 she moved to the Atlanta area and has continued to practice pediatric dentistry since then.

During her career, Dr. Dixit has volunteered at an orphanage in Mexico, at various special needs clinics, and through the United States Public Health Service/Indian Health Service. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

While outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, singing, Indian dance, and most of all spending time with her husband, son, and daughter.
